GlobalFest - a celebration in Chicago


As most of you know, I'm an active board member of Chicago Fair Trade. So it's only natural that I'd be promoting our annual fundraiser this coming Saturday - yes, our Summer Soltice, too!



Come support our annual benefit event! Celebrate our Global Partnerships!

When: 7pm Shop at the fair trade marketplace

8pm Musical Program

Shop for fair trade gifts during our Marketplace (beginning at 7:00 p.m.) before the musical act goes at at 8:00 p.m. Yes - http://www.world-shoppe.com/ will be there!

Music by The Hurricane Reggae Band led by Cleve "Hurricane" Jean Jacques. AND...Inti Raymi,“Festival of the Sun” , a musical group that promotes the music and culture of the Andes.

Tickets are just $25.00 in advance ($35.00 at the door) which includes tasty appetizers and a drink ticket.
